We stayed here in August 2018 on a room only basis. Location, room and staff were great on our one night stay, we paid for the room on check in and said we didn’t want breakfast as were checking out early the next morning. Breakfast was extra.
We checked out at 7am the next day and no mention of any charges to our room were mentioned by the staff. We continued with our journey but later that morning I received an email with an invoice from the hotel to say we had been charged for breakfast!
I immediately contacted their customer service team to inform them of the discrepancy which was acknowledged with a complaint number but to date nobody has bothered to contact me to answer my complaint, I have chased it up with them on numerous occasions but still no response or refund!
Terrible after service customer service, will never use this hotel chain again!
If you decide to book to go here please make sure you ensure they haven’t charged you for something before you leave or you will get nowhere!
