Hotel's location is very good, continental breakfast is also very reach. But the rooms have very old furnitures. Air conditions are very dirty and broken. You can choose this hotel only for casino not for the summer holiday.

No one seems to be enjoying their job. They all look unhappy and unwilling to serve. They may try to change their sector. Being serious and looking dull are not the same.

Guests pay the salaries, guys!

I came with my family the room was not as the pictures we had ants in our shower.
The shower was broken the view was to construction site. We really didn't like the hotel.
The rooms were far from the lobby we needed to go on a dark road to go the dining room and to the casino.

We visited the hotel several times. Prices are acceptable. Near to downtown. Breakfast is more or less good but lunch & dinner caterings are not so well. Rooms are quiet well but not good for long stay. Beach is not good and sea is not so fresh for swimming. Smoking in rooms are allowed but this is not good.

Room tip: select rooms from main building not from the aparts

We booked into the Vuni Palace for 10 nights on 12 October. We left early after 6 days due to the poor conditions.

If you have seen pictures on internet sites they really are not a true reflection of the rooms or the hotel facilities - if you are thinking of booking please don't!

Negatives:
- Reception staff are very rude. They also do not approve of 2 men sharing a room and made it clear that they are homophobic when checking in.
- There is a smell of sewage around the hotel. There was a large well near the front of the hotel which appeared to have sewage pipes going into it. Not pleasant in the heat!
- Air conditioning was leaking water and after a couple of hours made a loud drilling noise. This was reported to the hotel twice but was not fixed.
- A cockroach appeared out of the air conditioning unit on day 3.
- The bathroom had mouldy areas and there was a sewage smell when taking a shower. There was a grate in the floor that had tissue stuffed inside. We guessed this was to help with the smell but did nothing.
- The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on the floor.
-Wardrobe doors stuck when trying to open them so you had to force them open. The doors felt as though they were going to fall off.
- There are some floor tiles around the pool area that are lifting so multiple people were tripping over or stubbing toes.
- The fridge in the room hardly worked, did not get that cool.
- Staff at the morning breakfast were unhelpful and in particular an older bald member who appeared to be some sort of supervisor was particularly very rude.
- There was no gym despite being told by the travel operator that there was one.
-Wifi was terrible across the complex.

Positives:
Pool is large and relatively clean - but it is not heated.

I have stayed in hotels all across the world and this is the only experience that I have felt it necessary to write a review. The Vuni Palace is NOT a 5* resort, it is 3* at its best.
My partner and I left after 6 days and checked into the Grand Pasha hotel about 5 minutes away and the proposition is a world apart! The staff here are helpful, courteous, the hotel is clean and truly a fantastic place to stay
