If you just need a place to sleep then maybe it is easier to book a hotel room in the Les Palmiers Hotel next door but if you want a larger room or are staying a while then you may be interested to have access to a kitchen. I had one of the back rooms overlooking a fairly deserted car park but with the advantage of being quiet. I guess if I want to look at the beach I would sit in one of the many bars and coffee shops along the main beach road. The apartments are very centrally located.

You check in at the hotel of the same name and then you are taken to your room in the building next door. A tasty Full English breakfast is available from many outlets nearby from around EUR 5 to 7 including a cup of coffee, so do not worry about not having a hotel breakfast.

I'll start with the good points; it was a clean apartment, spacious, with daily service (fresh towels etc).

Now for the truth...
I was in apartment 301, this overlooked a noisy side street with constant traffic going into a car park, service vehicles going to adjacent hotels, people walking up and down shouting at each other all day. The double bed was ok, but the bedding supplied was for a single, so it didn't fit. The 'curtains' were somewhat thinner than tissue paper, so you didn't need to use the lights at night due to all the light pollution coming in from outside, and you could lie in bed staring at the really bright blue sign that read 'Nicolaides city hotel' on top of one of the other buildings.

I was there for two weeks, and builders were working constantly on the ground floor, admittedly nothing to do with the apartment managers, but the builders made the building shake from 7am nearly every day. I do love the sound of loud drilling, banging, floors being ripped up, walls being knocked down, etc. (I wish I could include videos!). I couldn't work out what they were building, but I'm sure there'll be some sort of restaurant there soon, no doubt banging out loud music till late at night to keep the guests awake.

Someone will have to listen out for it in future!

The whole place smelled of frying, strangely mostly frying fish, although I couldn't see a fish restaurant next to the apartments. If you have a hire car, you'll have to pay for parking as there is none attached to the apartments, there are spaces outside that were €4 for 10 hours.

Room Tip: Take earplugs and an eye mask.

Hard to find. If you have a cab drop you off by McDonald's, you have to go around back and look for the gate with wall with the white building in front of you. But that's not where you get your key or have breakfast. Those are about a block away at the hotel with the similar name.

They're very friendly and accommodating, but be sure to know where you're going to save time and grief.

Now, the heat did not work. It got a bit chilly. A place with good service would offer another room or to fix the heat. Both of which they did so they passed the test. We didn't want to change rooms as we have two terraces - both with sea views. We were up high, it was quiet, and good views.

They had two workmen come who finally got the heat working. So they offer good service there.

Breakfast in the hotel a block away was very nice, filling, tasty, and with a nice sea view on the main floor.

Would for sure stay again.

We stayed here in room 102 over looking the beach. Great very apartment very clean. Alex who looks after us was very helpful and couldn't do enough to help. It's in a great location with plenty to do and eat.
I would highly recommend this flat.

Room Tip: Over looking the front is great.
