the hotel is situated in one of the quiet areas of Limassol in the city entrance The hotel needs renovation and it has also a very good restaurant at the marina
I always love this place but it is time to upgrade it.

We went for our wedding anniversary and stayed all inclusive. The selection of food and drinks were great! However, there was no hot water in our shower/bath, it must have had a problem because black bits were coming out of the shower head. We were given another room to shower in since it was late and maintanance had left, but this was inconvenient for us. We couldn't enjoy dinner at the Podium restaurant because of an event so we had it at the Octagon, which is less special. The hotel reception is lovely but some of the external steps leading to the bar were broken and some of the outside furniture needing repairing. I think that for a 5 start hotel they should have compensated me for not having hot running water in my room. They could have given us a voucher but they just apologized gave me another room and told me that when they reopen everything will be working fine. However, after this experience I would not choose to go to this hotel again, especially if I had to pay full price.

Very good service. Smooth check in experience staff very welcoming. Very cheerful restaurant and bar staff, always greeted by a manager on entering restaurant for breakfast and dinner and shown to a table. Tables usually cleared in a timely manner, tablecloths not always changed between customers even if stained! Room a good size and well equipped. Very nice to have tea and coffee facilities when abroad. Bathroom spacious, clean and well maintained. Very small balcony with no light for evening. Beds comfortable. Located at the end of the main strip so not central but some nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus stop a few minutes walk with a good service - every 10m to New harbour service runs along the coast with stops at all the main attractions. Hotel set in nice gardens. Two outdoor pools both too cold for us during our stay. Indoor small pool unable to comment as didn’t use. We personally liked the location and enjoyed the coastal walks. The only drawback for us was hotel was very busy with conferences during our stay. Reception areas very noisy due to this and unable to relax in lobby and bars. We were only here for one week so this did detract from our overall experience.

Hair on the towels, dust everywhere, dirty bathroom. Not good value for money. This aint a 5 star hotel
A guy from the hoteladded my wife on facebook after he saw our names on the booking. Never again to st Raphael.

We are currently on day 7 of a 10 day stay at the St Raphael,from the moment we arrived all the staff without exception have been friendly/helpfull & very professional.

Even though the hotel is over 30 years old you would never know,our room/the public areas/the pools/restaurants/bars etc etc etc are all in good order & everywhere is very clean & tidy.

The breakfast is exactly what you would expect,lots of choice for everybody no matter which country you are from.We personally have found the evening meals superb,lots of choice,from chips etc for the children to delicous cooked meats etc for the adults.
The desserts are very tasty & if you are too full,the frsh fruit goes down well.

The hotel should be very proud of their restaurant staff who work non stop throughout the meal times,its just a shame some guests dont appreciate their hard work.

We can only assume some of the negative comments come from people who have either been refused entry to the evening meals for inappropriate clothing or asked to control younger members of the family.

One thing we do know if we return to Cyprus,we would stay at the St Raphael !!!!
