We have just returned from a 2 week break and enjoyed ourselves enormously. This was our 3rd visit and will definitely go back. The hotel was really comfortable and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for them at the Pool Bar and the other indoor bars. We chatted to the 2 Laurens and really enjoyed their shows. They put so much effort and mixed well with all the holidaymakers when we all joined in for the games thoughout the day. Maria (guest relations manager) was lovely and always there to help anyone with a problem. Mr KK (manager) chatted to lots of guests to ensure everything was OK. There was never a panic getting a sunbed by the pool as we never had the same one twice. The rooms were cleaned every day and they are ultra modern. Special thanks go to barstaff Margarita, Stevan, Gabriel, 2 Marias, Yulia and Valentino. Food was lovely at evening but would have liked cold meat at lunch for salads and more choice maybe. The A La Carte was stunning and special thanks to Dean who looked after us very well Sweets were unbelievable at every meal and too many to choose from.
We missed the Beach Bar but it wasn't open as it was early season. Thomson must be cutting down as the Gala Night was not on this time and we really missed it but we still had a fabulous holiday.

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor but I would definitely choose 4th Floor if possible. 441 to 425 may be

I will not go on and on, because there is nothing we could find fault with, The staff are brill, outside pool bar, is where we always sit, and the waiters and waitress are out of this world. They work so hard, marie and gabriel, and our friend , we call , twinkle toes, never let you sit without a drink. We have been 21times in four years, never go anywhere else, and the rooms are so comfy, a heated pool , with a canopy , and plenty of beds to rest in. The gym is new, and plenty differant things to work out on,.a bus runs into town, and if you like cloths, there is a debenams store on route. Food is plenty, wide range, to make your meal first class. some people put towels on the sunbeds, but that is no harm done, there are still plenty . BEACH BAR OVER THE ROAD, BY THE SEA, IS WORTH A LOOK, But in all, it is a relaxing holiday, we go back 25th april, this year, so may see you there, just ask for sherbal and trouble, drinks are on me .

Room Tip: corner rooms are large and sunny, go for it.

Just got back from this hotel.
Facilities on site are very good and so is the food.
All areas very clean and the staff were friendly.
Not many places to go to within walking distance but buses and taxis are available.
This was our first holiday experience in a "couples" hotel without our kids that no longer want to be embarrassed by mum and dad and I highly recommend it!
Went on a 4x4 safari which was great fun with Zeus our driver and was a good way to break the ice with other guests and have a laugh.

Room Tip: Would recommend you pay extra for a sea view, were were in room 401 which had 2 balconies so you cou...

This hotel is wonderful. Spotlessly clean beautiful rooms and the staff are amazing. They cater for your every possible need and are gems. We had bad news on the way out to holiday and the staff were,so caring. The lunch snack menu is amazing, the chicken Caesar salad is delicious and enormous! Special thanks go to Anuschka, Jack the head waiter, Anthony, Maria and Valentinos, and the Thompson Laurens. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Relaxation and being totally
looked after throughout the stay. Can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Book a superior room, aim for third or fourth floor. Beautiful rooms with lovely sea views

Stayed in this hotel three times and returning again for two weeks in July.It is a little out of the way but you usually find that with all inclusive. The food is fabulous with a gala dinner once fortnightly which is a chance to dress up and mix with other guests. The staff are very hard working and very helpful. There is a snack bar and small bar on the beach which is across the road but you can get there via an underpass.Very relaxing and enjoyable holiday

Room Tip: Upgrade to sea view if u can

We arrived at the hotel on 31st March from a late Gatwick flight and first impressions were good. However we did have a problem with our room and when asked if we could change it was given a room on the second floor with, what seemed to be the only palm tree in the hotel grounds on out balcony! We were however upgraded to room 155 (superior) and wow what a difference. The room was bright and twice the size of the standard rooms. Only downside to this was the noise of the road and as we were on the end, right next to the main road into the hotel we had noise from deliveries all through the night and early morning. Me were also woken at 12am one morning by a refuse lorry collecting rubbish fom the hotel! There would be not way you could have your doors open in the summer months as you would never sleep. We were also woken one morning at 6AM by the hotel gardener cutting the grass (not happy).. We did actually speak to the manager who wasn't aware of these problems so hopefully this will be rectified now. On a plus side, the superior rooms are well worth the extra money, the food was actually very nice (&i am fussy), shame there wasn't more choice lunchtimes, and A.I was more like full-board with free drinks as you could not snack at all throughout the day apart from ice cream! Entertainment was nil to be honest. The two Laureen's seemed to have been dropped into a frying pan and didn't seem to have a lot of support. Giant Jenga (the resident duo) I am afraid to say we're the worst we have ever seen at at Thomson Gold (now couples) hotel. They did not gel with the holiday makers and seemed to not really want to be there. I don't think it helped as the sound system sounded dated. The two L's though did the best with the situation and had brilliant voices and were fun and great at the games during the day. Unfortunately I would not return to this hotel, which is a shame as it really has only a few minor points to put right and it would have been a perfect break. Don't take pool towels with you, as you get a token to get some from the health club, but you can only change them twice a week!!!

The coach journey back to the hotel was my highlight of the week... The coach (minibus) was late, it was the drivers first day...... Our cases were in a trailer attached to the back!! Say no more!

All in all a bit disappointing, as it was not a cheap holiday. If you take some ear plugs and don't worry about the road noise then all in all it should be a good holiday.

The staff at this hotel are very hard working, friendly and helpful and its obvious they have many returning guests. The hotel is across the main road from the beach but we liked that because it meant the private garden by the sea is much quieter than poolside, it could be accessed safely via an underpass. Its worth paying the extra for a sea view because the views are spectacular.

Food was quite varied for buffet style with regular local dishes.

A very good place to unwind. We will go back.
