PROS:
The Spa is brilliant. Treatments were excellent.
Lovely calm adults only pool
Cater for children well ( there are a further 2 outdoor pools)
Great location close to the harbour to potter
Food is excellent, especially the sea front restaurant, Ouzeri
Staff are friendly
You can use the facilities of the sister hotel 'The Annabel' (they have a hidden pool with bar, make sure to find it. It is past the main rectangular pool).
One of the best hotels in Pathos
Mix of clientele (older, younger couples, families). No big groups, no real stag/ hen.... lads, lads, lads type groups

CONS:
Don't come here if you are looking for a clear, white sand beach type holiday. Very rocky, with no real 'beach area'
Bit of a frenzy for the buffet breakfast, everyone becomes a little territorial!
Although staff are lovely and a plenty, service is excruciatingly slow
Typical, 'towels on the sun beds first thing in the morning'. There is a little hostility about with people trying to get sun-beds
Not a true 5 star, more 4 star ( down to facilities in rooms and service)

TOP TIPS
Superior sea view rooms are lovely. I would pay to upgrade to this if your thinking of a garden view room. However, I would not pay the extra for a balcony room.

Have a look at Mr and Mrs Smith Hotels to see if you can get a good deal. They add extras like free spa treatments, dinner at Mosaics Restaurant etc.

The Almyra Hotel is the place in Paphos to stay! We all had a really great time. Food plentiful and first class. The childcare was exceptional. The children loved it and wanted to go everyday . Our Spa treatments were a special treat and I felt so relaxed with the staff. The hotel is very clean and looked after daily. One of our best holidays! We'll definitely be returning

We stayed here with our two nieces whilst visiting family in Pafos. Two nights were simply not enough. This is a cool, stylish and sophisticated place. Beautiful adjoining rooms with lovely views out to sea. The food is just simply stunning. During the day our two young nieces attended the Explorers Club. The standard of childcare is excellent. It's operated by the Scott Dunn company, on behalf of the hotel, but is open to all guests. I really could not find any fault with this hotel. It's not cheap but is worth every penny. We will be back and for much longer next time.

Our second visit to this delightful restaurant, on the sea front. We chose the Meze menu €44 per couple for 8 Meze dishes which you can select any 4 cold and 4 hot dishes the cheese croquets, and filo parcels are amazing. We were so full we couldn't eat everything.

They also have live music in the evening not sure which nights this is as we didn't stay in he evening.

The staff are very polite, pleasant and helpful we hope to one day stay in the hotel but fear our waistlines wouldn't be forgiving
