Please read this .. we are not whingeing we are into leaving honest review on the places we stay.
We booked here even after reading reviews as we really only wanted a base with a kettle and be fed after doing daily research into possibly moving to Cyprus permanently.
I will start with the good points:
The studio apartment was ok had everything you needed for self catering but was cold at night if you didn’t use the Air Con as a heater, it was after all winter so no fault of resort.
The cleaners did their job, towels changed as per expectation and linen also on 4th day. At this juncture I would say please take your own if your going to swim...they don't give you pool towels and your not to take the 'white' (I use that term lightly) towels out of your apartment.
So if you are looking to use this place for self catering as a base go for it, but please hire a car.
That’s it the good is over now the bits that need work:
Surly ... unfriendly staff... with the exception of young chap on reception in the evening.
I think I counted about 10 different staff on the entire complex., everyone of them needs to be sent on a training course for customer service. Nobody wears a uniform (Chef did for 3 or 4 days then abandoned his effort for a T.shirt and Jeans and trainers) Everyone else wore very casual clothing (Lycra Gym Pants on one of the women) slouchy jeans on others.
Breakfast was fair everyday Bacon and eggs and toast etc but luke warm
Christmas Eve Dinner was luke warm and uninspiring
Christmas Day Lunch and Dinner Luke warm and uninspiring.
We were at the dining room come Club house every evening at opening time hoping for hot food, everyday we were disappointed.
No point complaining as I said the Staff were not interested. 'Chef' stood watching the diners every evening .. quite un nerving really.
We gave up on lunches totally after Christmas day Lunch
We went to the Local Taverna Epsilon at the bottom of the steep hill for 3 evening meals excellent food with great local wine in a Rustic atmosphere the two brothers are great characters. Please give it a go..
Anyway, back to the Review.
The Bar was outside by the pool...ok in the daytime if it wasn't raining but very cold nights are not conducive to sitting at the pool bar. Guess they saved a lot of Alcohol with this ploy. There are 3x2 seater sofas in the reception area and 1 x 3 seater. There are 3 Old Space Invader style machines an old football table and a pool table. A tiny Play ground for the children. That is it.
Oh there is an indoor pool underground somewhere, we didn't venture anywhere near it.
The shop is as luke warm and as uninspiring as the food.
You are going to be 8km out of Pathos up a very steep hill. 2 ladies who stayed at the same time as us told us it took them 2 hours to walk to town. I'm not surprised it is a 10+ minute drive depending on the time of day all down hill. It will cost you 15 Euro to travel one way by taxi. I didn't see any buses on that road.
We would never stay again, there are so many very good places in the Paphos area with so many lovely Cypriot people such a shame for a great looking complex.

Room Tip: Apartments have everything in you need to self cater.

Just returned from 2 nights stay in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa. 4 adults, one 17 yrs old and one 3 yrs old. We had a great time, being here for the second time. The villa was lovely, rooms big enough, we got the en-suite:)
Kitchen well equipped, there was a washing machine, iron, iron table, 32" inch LG tv, our own internet modem.
The villa had it's own poll but it was chilly outside so we used the indoor pool situated in the public area. Gym is also nice.
As we were on self catering didn't interacted with the staff but the stay was great.
First time we came was just me, hubby and our 2 and half year old at that time and stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that was also great and fully equipped.
Would recomend to anyone who wants to relax and spend time with family or friends in a nice place away from home.

This the worst holiday we been on the food was awful the staff in the complex were rude and few were high on drugs for most of holiday. When I complained about the food to one of the staff the response was if I don't like it go some were else.
would never return to this place waste of money.

Returned from here on Saturday the property was clean and comfortable all the staff were friendly and helpful the apartment was cleaned and towels changed every 2 days even though we said we would reuse the towels they still got changed.
Yes the hotel is a long way outside Paphos and you do need a car but we knew this from other reviews.
I you want night life and book here then you haven't done your home work but it was great for us who like the quite life.
We ate in the restaurant a couple of times the menu was a bit limited but I expect that was because its off season the meals we had were fine and good value.
All in all a good value break.
