Just returned from our second home. Lost count of the number of times we have stayed. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of the town in easy walking distance of all amenities. The rooms are decorated to a high standard. Would strongly recommend you get rooms with a sea view as best position in hotel. Wake up to see the sea and castle from your bed.

We found Costas and his staff to be very helpful and friendly as ususal. Nothing to much trouble. We cant wait to return in October when we have 3 weeks.

The food in the little taverna at night is good in a nice romantic atmosphere. It is recommended to book half board but with the prices low in Cyprus great location for all the restraunts to eat out and sample the locals.

Room Tip: rooms with a sea view excellent

Great location with all facilities in easy walking distance. Clean small hotel. Can recommend deluxe rooms on 3rd floor overlooking pool and sea with small balcony. Beds comfortable - not too hard! Kettle, bottle of wine and fruit bowl provided, along with hairdryer. Constant supply of tea, coffee etc. 3 pin sockets so no need for adaptors. Modern clean bathroom with 2 shower positions and one overhead. Constant hot water. Yes there is a glass door - maybe a little quirky!! Bathrobes and slippers provided. Had half board, good selection of self service food.
Mini fridge and tv remote, you have to ask for these. Beach towel hire €1 a week. Pool and sun terrace area clean with sun beds and umbrellas. Wi-fi good in all areas.
Airport bus 612, stops a few steps away from hotel. All journeys €1.50. No entertainment at hotel, staff and waiters not overly friendly. We travelled mainly by local bus to visit Coral Bay, Tomb of Kings, Afrodities Rock, and Pafos old town. Thoroughly recommend George's Fun Bus if you want to laugh and sing all day.

Positives: Very clean. Good location near shops, harbour, restaurants. Good breakfast selection and is served from 7 - 10am. Bus stop only 100mts away. Comfy beds. Smashing balcony overlooking the sea. (Deluxe rooms on 3rd floor.) There's a nice restaurant adjoining the hotel - nice, friendly staff and the foods good too! During our stay it was nice and quiet with a lot of elderly people there. It felt safe.

Negatives: Unfriendly and unhelpful staff - we had to find out what was available, i.e. remote control for TV, fridge key, towels for sunbeds - all available if you ask the receptionist. Evening meals - fair choice but we found it a bit tasteless. The bar shut at 9.30/10pm. No atmosphere. No entertainment. Outdoor pool is unheated - freezing when we were there. No fire safety signs/instructions in rooms. Telephone in room but no dialing list, i.e. number for reception. No information leaflets or maps available. (Get them from the tourist info office up the road.) Two members of staff had a row across the reception & office! Glasses are used around the pool area so watch out for glass if barefooted. Bathroom door has only partially obscure glazing - handy for watching your mate on the loo/in the shower! The slide door isn't a full door, i.e. gaps - so you hear it all! There are two shower heads but don't use the one connected to the ceiling unless you want to flood the bathroom. No courtesy room offered if your flight is later in the day. Greek guests are given preference over English guests.

Recommend: Book the deluxe rooms on 3rd floor - great views. Bathrobe & slippers included. Fruit bowl & bottle of wine provided on arrival.

Room Tip: 3rd floor deluxe with balcony/seaview
