The restaurant is very pretty, old barn conversion with some modern design touches.
We were a group of 9 friends with little kids. First of all- no kids menu!!!!! We had escudella ( local soup) -very nice, fish soup-very good, goat cheese salad -big portion and would be enough for not a very hungry person, stewed duck ( duck legs ), ox tail stew, duck magret-all was very good, pasta bolonese- just plain I would give grade 4 out of 5. Desert didn't look pretty though. Good service. They charge 1.90euro for bread without asking. I would say it's abt 35 euro per person including wine. Not bad!

We came to this restaurant because We thought it looked so nice on the pictures. However, it wasn't as good as it looked. We took Carpaccio, which is a favorite, but it was ruined because they put too much salt on it.
I had bavette, meat, that was supposed to be very tender, but it wasn't. My husband had lamb chops, and they were good.
For dessert he had tiramisu, and that was the best tiramisu he had had in ages, he said.
The children ( 8 and10) had pasta with a seafood sauce, and did not like it. They normally eat everything with seafood.
The service was slow, but friendly.
Remember to wear or bring a sweater,if you don't want to sit with your jacket on. The place is quite cold and drafty.
The place is beautiful, but would be even nicer if they dimmed the lights and lit some candles.

Thank Anne C

I really enjoyed my lunch there. First, the place is beautiful, all in wood. Then, the quality of the food is excellent. We were six, so we al could have a taste of each other's dishes, and everybody agreed with me: dont miss it.

So enjoyed the trinxat, the traditional Andorran "hash" of potatoes, cabbage, blood sausage and bacon. Country sausage with beans was an uncured pork sausage with savory subtleness. Oxtail bourguignon was outstanding. Rustic mountain-house but well lit with tasteful contemporary accents. Service quite pleasant with some minor English language difficulty.

Went on recommendation from hotel. The restaurant is located in what looks much like an old house--lots of wood, great lighting, a really nice setting. There are lots of different meats on the menu and we tried a number of them - duck breast, lamp chops, bavette. They were all delicious. It was pretty empty when we went but the place is huge with a pub area downstairs, I can only imagine that it is packed during ski season.
