This restaurant is quite popular and a lot of working people come to have a quick lunch there. The place is nice and service is quick. The menu is quite convenient. However I regret that hygiene is not the priority of the house. Servers use their hands (when were they cleaned last?) to take the meringue that stand is a bowl all day. The duck was dry and potatoes overcooked.

We came for lunch and were given a nice table in the best part of the restaurant which is furthest to the left.
The menue at Eur 28 had many interesting choices but we settled for artichoke and parmesan, then dorade on semoules with vegetables. The dessert was Isle flottante, a soft merengue in caramel sauce. We hade a glass of the house red, decent, and an espresso, strong and nice. Service was a bit hurried and impersonal but absolutely not bad. The bill landed at Eur 73, very ok. Toilets are in the basement, quite a trip downstairs and would need a face lift.
There is an terrass which, despite the heavy traffic, is nice when the weather allows. The name of the place is totally misleading, this is a normal restaurant even if better and more elegant than most. A very good place in Monaco.

This restaurant was recommended by Rino (Fairmont Concierge), and it didn't disappoint.
Proper, authentic homemade food to rival any of the 'high-end' and overpriced restaurants dotted around Monaco (and in the hotels).

We go ususally there for business lunches and we never come out disappointed, good service, reasonable pricing for Monaco, good quality and variaty with some typical dishes also. You can go there and feel verz safe for the biz lunch.

We had a late lunch meal here while in town. The service was nothing less than phenomenal and the food was exquisite. You can go overboard with this menu, but we managed to have a very nice and inexpensive meal. Highly recommended.
