We enjoyed a lovely lunch here today. The setting is right on the water, under colourful umbrellas and flowers. The service was very prompt, which we have found to be the exception in Austria. My sons had the potato soup, which was excellent, followed by bacon wrapped chicken which they also thought very good. My husband had schnitzel and I had roast pork. All meals were very good. Pricewise, it was in line with what we have come to expect in the area and a little less expensive than the nearby and slightly more upscale Gasthof Gruner and Heritage Hotel.

Great food, quick service and not crowded! We had a beautiful top in the garden area with a lake view. The area is down a side alley from the town market square and is easily missed by the large tourist crowds. The goulash, mixed salad, and pork medallions were excellent as was everything we ordered.

Very good but very expensive eating in this lovely village.If you are looking for a treat do try this place

We ate at Gasthof Simony Restaurant am See twice. The food was served very quick, but they were in no hurry to get us out. We stayed at our table and later at the tiny wooden platform outside for a very long time. The staff were nice and friendly. The schnitzels are delicious!

Great view. Food was good we had the fish and chicken wrapped with bacon. Save room for dessert! We had the berry ice cream trio it was yummy. They accept only cash so had to run to the ATM
