This hotel has great history and building is very old. That is a plus. But furniture is not rustic as might be expected, but is just old and outdated. They do not have any AC in rooms, but they give you fan. Also, when making booking they promised bed from 131-150 cm wide, but was just standard 90 cm. Room was not realy spaceous, but was fine. Bathroom was really small.
Their restaurant serves nice meals from menu. Breakfast do not have rally wide choice. Staff is trying to please you and this grades us the establishment.
I expected some nice Inn but was dissapointed. Next time I would just select brand hotel.

Hotel was ok, rooms were small with no air conditioning but did have a small fan.

Breakfast was basic but good.

Bar staff were friendly but reception staff wasn't really welcoming, we felt like it was all an effort.

Nice terrace outside which was good.

This hotel is not near the center of downtown, but it has free and convenient parking. The room was clean and pleasant and has all the things you would expect in a European hotel room. Breakfast is good & typical for Austria, dinner was good, local beer is decent also. I would recommend for those that need to be away from the center if things. Front desk people are very pleasant. Village bells ring frequently.

Very comfortable and cosy room. Perfect after a long and difficult drive through the snow.
Very clean and comfortable beds. Renovated bathroom.
The excellent restaurant was totally unexpected. Very good service, and delicious food.
Definitely a place to recommend.
The only minus point is that is far from the city centre.

The hotel is far from the center, but it has a nice parking lot free to use and you can reach downtown by car in 10 minutes.
The room was very comfortable and clean, reasonably equipped.
Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would return.

What a lovely place. We had a family room - not the largest space ever but it suited our needs just fine. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds and nice size bathroom with a good shower. We had a view of the local church, the bells rang out every hour - we liked this and it didn't bother us sleeping but I could see some people wouldn't be quite so keen. The staff were friendly, one young lady in particular was very welcoming, she booked us in and served us in the restaurant as well. Buffet style continental breakfast, very nice and I must say we ate in the hotel twice and it was delicious. The food was amazing, really impressive and good quality. Try the farmers style pork... we loved it. Desserts equally as good! Not the cheapest place to eat, but Austria is expensive everywhere - but I can say this quality matched the price and was worth it. Good location, we had hired a car so it was great. Free parking and wifi, excellent just off the main road so quiet yet well-connected. Would stay there again for sure. Short walk from the bus stop - use Number 4 to get into the city. We were drinking NYE so left the car there. Hotel sells bus tickets and the Salzburg tourist cards as well - (then you can travel on the buses for free) so it's great. Hotel has bus timetables also - super helpful! Enjoy!

Room Tip: The church bell rings every hour - we liked it, but some may find it annoying!

This is a small traditional hotel in a quiet location in the Liefering district, a 15-minute bus ride from Salzburg’s city centre. The rooms were basic but very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served really nice Austrian food and you could dine either in the restaurant or outside on the patio. There was also a small bar area. Location was good for getting into Salzburg. Would definitely stay here again.
