This hotel was in a good location, center of town. Good restaurant options around the hotel. The views of Alps from the hotel was amazing. Though cloudy, we got a clear view few times during our stay. Breakfast options were good, rooms were adequate size for 2 people and the bed and towels were clean and soft. Overall - Recommended.

Last year we stayed in the hotel's sister hotel - the Schwarzer Adler, which is about a 5 minute walk away in town.

We tried this one for a change and especially for the amazing views from the bedroom and restaurant area. Floor to ceiling glass give uninterupted views of the mountains.

The rooms are comfortable if just a bit dark. The bathrooms are very nice with a good shower. The breakfast was also good.

The beds were ok although the pillows are so soft, if you like a bit if support, you might find this an issue.

Located 2 minutes from the railway station, the hotel is very convenient for anyone arriving by train.

Slightly unfortunately, the front entrance feels like you're entering an office building rather than a hotel. The bright yellow walls could possibly be made more welcoming by using scenic images of Innsbruck or the Tirol.

Overall, in terms of service and facilities, apart from the view, the hotel is pretty much like any other city hotel.

If you're looking for a more traditional Tyrolean experience, I'd opt for the Schwarzer Adler.

A brief stop over between Bavaria and Italy to visit the Hofburg, and wan't expecting much, but fell in love with Old Town. The city location is stunning, set in a valley with the high mountains surrounding it. The hotel is conveniently located a block from the train station and a couple of blocks from Old Town Innsbruck. The rooms are modern, well appointed and roomy although there was evidence of dirt on the floors and in corners. The bathrooms have heated floors. The views from the large windows in the room of the mountains is unbelievable. The afternoon sun does make the rooms uncomfortably warm. The beds were very comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, preferring instead to eat at the many sidewalk cafe's and restaurants in Old Town. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. Language was not an issue. There is a rooftop restaurant with an outdoor area that looks out on the city and mountains that unbfortunately we did not have time to try.

Room tip: All rooms have gorgeous views of the mountains.

Booked this hotel because of the view and not disappointed at all. Large rooms, parking on site, fantastic view. Location is great too, in the city center. Walking distance around city. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel paired with impressive view of Austrian Alps & beautiful old town! The Spa and rooftop bar is a must-try as well! Friendly staff and convenient location is a plus point also!

Will definitely come back with family in future!

Only downside was paid car park in the basement. Would be better if hotel could take care of parking arrangement for hassle-free experience.
