Our plane was delayed and we arrived late, after dinner had finished. From the moment we arrived Reiner, Yudi and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They had kept the kitchen and restaurant open and even gave us time to go and freshen up before we ate. Our room was excellent with plenty of space. Next morning we met the delightful hotel owners Ursula and Benedict who made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the week eg. train times for a trip to Innsbrook as an alternative to skiing, when the resort lifts were closed due to bad weather. They entertained those who wanted to chat pre dinner with their stories and even put on a wine tasting session free of charge, where we benefited from their extensive knowledge. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. Hotel in a great location for the town with a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the Ski Lifts. We recommend leaving skis and boots in the lockers at the bottom of the lift at the end of the day so that you can have a more comfortable Apres Ski before returning to the hotel. Having lived and worked in the French Alps we usually holiday here but hotel Erika will definitely be on our list to visit again and soon I hope.

We stayed in this hotel between the 6th and 13th January 2018. Our room was excellent (no. 65) and we were very impressed with the hotel's facilities and the service provided by the team, especially Judit, Gutta and Nikoletta (thank you for all your hard work).

We first came here in the late 1990s as a couple; have since been twice when our son was 8 and just this summer: he's 17! We have loved it every time, and so has our son. It's not the fanciest hotel (no room service, no air-conditioning) but we like that: it's warm and friendly, everything is spotlessly clean, the food at breakfast and dinner is just wonderful -- and very generous. (They'll even provide you with a packed lunch for 7 euro a person, which is very good value.) The bar is reasonably priced, and you will be invited to a free wine tasting! The spa and pools are lovely -- especially the freshwater pool, be brave and jump in. It's not on the main drag of Kitz which we liked: a five minute walk, either to town or the lifts up the mountains. All the service from the staff was wonderful. We'll go back again soon.

We have been going to this hotel for many years although we have had a four or five year break. Stepping through the door and getting a warm greeting from the owners Uschi & Benedikt made us realise how much we had missed them. We had a lovely comfy room with a sitting area, food was good, we really like the salad buffet to start and there is a choice of meat or fish for main course, everything we had was beautifully cooked and presented and the staff ( a few of whom have been there many years ) were friendly and attentive.

Room Tip: If you want a balcony ask for one, otherwise the terrace is a good place for pre dinner drinks whilst viewing the beautiful garden

Stayed for a holiday in June. The staff are very good, they will more than put themselves out for you. The food is generally pretty good, but choice is little limited. The hotel's fabric is quiet tired and needs a re-fresh. The public areas lack ambience particularly in the evening and were very quiet (the bar was often closed).
