This was part of the Schoenburnn Tour and I am glad I took the time to see this collection of carriages. The detail on each one was amazing, think of all the work and dedication it took to build them.

We visited the Imperial Carriage Museum Vienna when we visited Schonbrunn. This is a nice collection of carriages from the Habsburg dynasty (from the simple to the outrageously ornate) as well as sleighs and other interesting items. Recommend.

Quite interesting to see all the different carriages and all the details. 30 minutes will do, but a little disappointing that there was not one carriage which you could sit in.

Included as part of our Schonbrunn tour, so I decided to go.
It was a good choice, very interesting with carriages of all types, sleighs, and replicas of horses with their exquisite harnesses.
Another window into the extravagant lifestyle of the Habsburg's! Reportedly, their fleet of vehicles once numbered more than 600.
My wife spent a great deal of time on the "Sisi Path" - with memorabilia tracing Elisabeth's life from wedding to death. She was particularly intrigued by the dress with the incredibly small waist.
