This quirky boutique hotel is excellently located in walking distance to everything. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast excellent. The bed was adequately comfortable and the only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars was the horrible wifi in room #2 which another guest commented on in their review. In this age of people working remotely decent wifi is essential and an easy fix. The positives outweigh the negative.

We spend five nights at the Hollmann Beletage in early June. We arrived after an all night flight and a tour that was supposed to last all day. We were dead by early afternoon so we checked into the hotel. The hotel is incredibly conveniently located near the tourist areas of Vienna. You can't beat the location.

The reception staff was very nice. We started off in room with a shower-bath combination on a raised platform that was too high to work for my wife. We switched to a room with just the shower on the platform and that was fine. Room was lovely and spacious with two comfortable chairs (two chairs always make my wife happy).

The breakfasts were very good with both a buffet and items cooked to order for you. As their web site says you could describe the place as a design hotel in Vienna's city centre or a boutique Hotel only 2min from St. Stephen's Cathedral. But that only refers to its aesthetical appearance and its true beauty lies within. It is a place of deceleration in the centre of Vienna, a leisure hotel in the city and a comfy home in an unknown world.

Room Tip: Bathrooms are sometimes quirky. Make sure you're comfortable with the arrangement in your room.

My husband, 7 month old son and I stayed at the Hollmann Beletage for 3 nights at the end of August. We were attracted to the hotel by all of the good reviews, and it did not disappoint! All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room, while small, was very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was delicious, and they provided beer and Viennese meatloaf in the afternoons, and a bottle of Jameson in the evenings! The hotel's location was excellent- within close walking distance to many great restaurants, wonderful sightseeing, and pubic transportation. I will definitely stay here again if and when I return to Vienna.

There are many things which are making the Hollemann Beletage a perfect place to stay for a visit in Vienna: an excellent location in the inner ring, great staff, comfortable room, outstanding breakfast. In addition, there is an effort to do things differently from more established hotel which is refreshing and pleasant without taking you out of your comfort zone (at least from my perspective).

The only downside during our stay was the Wi-Fi which was either very slow (in the middle of the night) or not working at all (during peak hours such as evening). It might be due, at least partially to the fact that our room (# 8) was located at a corner of the hotel floor but this is hardly an excuse. The staff tried to help but was obviously not in a position to fix the problem during our four night stay. It is too bad because it marred what would have been a perfect stay and the reason why I only give a four stars rating.

My Wife and I stayed at Hollmann Beletage for three nights and we found it to be a great location and the Staff provides excellent service and of course, like the other TA reviews, we very much enjoyed the quality of breakfasts. We stayed in the corner room #23 and enjoyed it. The setup is a bit funky with the canopy bed in the middle of the room with the sink attached to the back of the headboard but it is very roomy with a nice walk-in rainfall shower. We also liked the large containers of soaps and lotions and the in-room music player. We also took advantage of the Hotel’s restaurant tips that are close by such as Ef16 Restaurant Weinbar, Labstelle (for lunch) and Lugeck. We also found Vinothek W-Einkehr, which is close by. It had very friendly service and good info on Austrian wines and tasty charcuterie and cheese. We also enjoyed Trattoria Toscana La No (excellent Italian for a change of pace). Here’s a tip if you have a rental car. Vienna has great public transportation so you should plan to park your rental car and not use it during your stay. The hotel will park it for you but it costs 24 Euros per night. Upon arriving in Vienna, we drove directly to the Park & Ride Hütteldorf (GPS Coordinates: 48°11'42" N, 16°15'51.12" E) and bought 72-hour travel cards for €16.50 per person. There are several Park & Ride options and we chose the Park & Ride Hütteldorf as it was the most convenient as we arrived from Hallstatt. We took the green line to the hotel at Schwedenplatz (14 stops but it was fairly quick). The car was very secure and the parking only cost 3.40 Euros per day, which is a steal in Vienna. Enjoy Vienna and the Hollmann Beletage, which are both excellent!
