In the middle of our 2 weeks in Europe we needed to get from Austria to Krakow. I decided our best option would be to take the night train which left us open to spend the day in Vienna. There were a few must sees on my list but I knew we could never see all that Vienna had to offer. My daughter had really enjoyed a rickshaw tour we had done in Salzburg on another trip so when I found Three Wheely Rikscha here on Trip Advisor I added it to our itinerary. I knew the tour could help us maximize our time and see as much of Vienna as we could with the time we did have to spare.
I contacted Luka prior to our trip and set up a time to meet us in the afternoon after we'd had time to do a few things on our own. There were 4 in our group so we booked two rickshaws for 2 hours. We arrived a little early for our scheduled time. We found one of the company drivers, however, he was not ours but he made a phone call and when he could not get an answer he drove off on his rickshaw to find him. Our 2 rickshaws arrived shortly and we set off to explore the city.
Our tour included many of the major sites and was chock full of information. We learned many bits of historical info we did not know and some other lesser known fun facts were pointed out that kept the tour interesting. Our driver would stop so we could take pictures and even position us so we could get the best photos.
As we rode around we had a few dogs that did not seem to know what to think of our rickshaws that barked at us. That was good for some laughs.
We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot! The drivers are amazing that they can peddle so long and make it appear effortless. We were very grateful to be resting our tootsies while they did all the hard work. Absolutely worth the cost especially if you have someone in your party who cannot do a lot of walking or tires easily.
The drivers were great. And, Luka was wonderful to work with. I love that he was able to customize the tour by telling him what we wanted to see and especially where we wanted to be dropped off at the end of the tour. Great customer service, great tour and great fun!
