I stayed in a single room with private bath and toilet. The room was perfect for what I needed.
The pension is located in a neighborhood just off a main street, so it was quiet in the evenings. My window opened to the courtyard and got a nice breeze in the evenings. It was a short walk to public transportation. My first day I enjoyed lunch at a restaurant just down the street.
Barbara was very helpful during the reservation process and during my stay. She assisted me with directions and tips on things to experience. Breakfasts were great - typical European spread.
It was the perfect place to relax at the end of a day of sight-seeing. I definitely recommend the Hotel Pension Bosch.

Room tip: you can choose private or shared bathrooms

Comfortable rooms with a very good breakfast. The lady at the pension was very pleasant and helpful. The location is good and has good connectivity to the trams which can take you to the heart of the city.

located about 15 mins from vienna city centre. easy to commute. nice spacious rooms with a large bed. The breakfast was value for money. Most importantly the lady who owns the place is amazingly helpful. we had to leave for budapest at 5 am and she left salami sandwiches packed for the journey..we were truly touched. Thank you.

We've been to Vienna several times and did our research ahead of time: Pension Bosch appeared to be exactly the kind of place we like to stay and it lived up to our expectations. We like the small-hotel, family run atmosphere. We like that it's not a cookie-cutter, chain hotel experience. A very clean room, comfortable bed and delicious, traditional breakfast for a very reasonable price makes for a great value and a great travel experience. The location is pretty good too. A 5 minute walk to the north will get you to Tram 71, which will get you to the ring in 7-8 minutes. An S-Bahn station (with a small shopping area) goes to the airport. A 5 minute walk to the south will get you to Tram 18, which will get you to the Main train station in 5-6 minutes.
We had great interactions with the staff, they were pleasant and very helpful.

If you like big-name chain hotels, then this is probably not for you. The rooms are actually on the second floor of the building; there is a small lift, but you should plan on walking up 2 flights of stairs. The towels were a bit past their prime as well. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay and we would absolutely stay there again.

It is a little off the beaten track but the city center is easily reached by tram or if you are fit the center is within walking distance. Also, it is not very convenient to the train station. However, the rooms are very large and unlike many hotels in this price range has lots of storage room for your clothes as well as lots of hangers which are notably missing in many hotels. The only complaint of the room was it needed better lighting. The owners daughter is very helpful in assisting you in navigating the city and wants you to have a good visit. The buffet breakfast is more than adequate to start out the day exploring one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. Would return to this hotel if we ever return to Vienna.
