A fairly decent hotel in a good waterfront location in Tromso. Rooms are as to be expected for a hotel of this type (ie, clean, comfortable, well equipped, but nothing special). Parking is an issue if you’re coming by car. The car park is a nightmare to get to thanks to an incomprehensible one way system in Tromso, also spaces are limited so there’s no guarantee. On top of this you have to pay extra for it, so be warned.
What you don’t have to pay extra for is an evening meal. This is a buffet included in the price so as long as you don’t mind getting what you’re given, this is an excellent way to save some money, because just like everywhere else in Norway, Tromso is cripplingly expensive. In addition you can also get coffee and cake in the afternoon free of charge, which is another nice touch.

This is a very nice hotel: rooms are spacious and comfortable and location is perfect. The outdoor hot tub on the roof with views of the mountains and Ishavskatedralen is awesome.

This review would be a five-star if not the limited breakfast. No bacon, no pastries and generally boring setup. Locally produced foods would help! I also noticed that the management started to save money on the complimentary evening meal. For instance, desert is not free any more. A shame, since a good free meal is signature of the Clarion Collection hotels.

We had a great stay for a weekend from friday to monday. Good and comfortable bed and of course curtains that ensure that you get a dark room and a good night sleep during the northern lights. the guest rooms could be warm and the aircondidtion is not the best.
On the 5th floor its a little gym, a sauna and there is a open air jacuzzi located outside.
If you want to enjoy something to drink, just call the staff and the bring it to you so you can just relax in the bubbles.
Its good breakfast, coffee and waffle as afternoonsnack and dinner included.
All in all very good.

The rooms are good and clean, the beds are very comfortable (boxspring), the bathroom is very modern, new and clean and the breakfast is very good, with everything you need, (yoghurt, muesli, bread, eggs in all forms, meat, cheese, wafles, salad, you name it and they have it). There is an all inclusive menu (breakfast, wafles at 16.00 and dinner) It is in the price and it is good and saves you a lof of money! Tromso is very beautiful, but it is hard to find a parkingplace and you must pay, beware of that!

Very nice rooms in a good location for a fair price. The best part was the free meals. 3-6 free waffles and coffee, 6-9 free evening meal buffet, 7-10 free breakfast. All was very tasty with great variety.
