My husband, three kids and I go there to get fresh walnut bread rolls with strawberry jam. Great cinnamon buns and coffee too. Nice surroundings, quiet with a fountain nearby. Benches outside for sunny mornings.

I often visit friends in Oslo who live near this neighborhood bakery. Located at 7/8 minute walk from the Ullevaal Stadium tram stop, the Apent Bakeri offers a delicious selection of breads, pastries, ready-made sandwiches and coffee/drinks. There is limited seating inside and out and it can get quite busy at peak times, 11-2. but, if the weather is nice you can get something to take away and sit on the benches around the fountain at the other end of Damplassen, a one-minute walk away. One of my favorite things to do is to get a multi-grain roll and then use the cutting board to split it and cover it with the tasty free jam at the end of the counter. The sandwiches are quite good as well. This is a very interesting, off-the-beaten path area and worth exploring. They are putting in a new (June 2017) pizza restaurant across the street and there is a florist and a gormet market in the same area.

This is a really quaint place, especially on sunny day when you can sit outside! It can get a little crowded and lots of families visit but worth it for the yummy baked goods. Maybe on a crowded day bring your goodies along to the park!

This bakery is a lovely place! Best breads in Oslo and a wonderful combination of French and Norwegian pastries. Good coffee in very a charming neighbourhood.
