We visited the Ang Thong Marine National Park yesterday, and this was truly a highlight. The nature is very beautiful, and views from the designated view points are absolutely breathtaking.

We admired this place as nature lover. If you have a time, take one day tour . You will not regret coming here.

I recommend to take a private boat if possible as you can control your trip better as you may stay in private spots. We took a boat with snorkeling gear and kayaks and the kids loved it.

This trip was paid through an Agent, the young lady in the shop on Chaweng Beach Road was most helpful during the selection of trips available. We were collected from the Hotel and on arrival at the Pier, we paid te required "Tax" and climbed aboard looking forward to the Breakfast as mentioned in the itinery brochure....this was a let down, a Banana (if you were at the front of the queue)a Mini Croissant (again,if you were lucky) and a DIY Coffee Machine.....the journey was slow and laborious and on arrival we were herded on to a Long Boat and ferried to
an unstable floating Jetty.
Facilities ashore were limited and the Lagoon feature was reached by climbing many steps which were not the easiest, due to them being of differing heights.
There was no information or announcements made during the trip....all in all, a very, very, amateurish business set up.
Could have chosen better, maybe the journey by Speed Boat,
or...............a day on the Beach !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
