Two night stay and we enjoyed it very much. The room was well decorated and comfortable - putting this place easily into the boutique B&B category. The owners were very friendly and helpful - especially kind on arrival. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Good coffee.

Room Tip: Alice Room - for the views ;)

Comfortable rooms, with hosts who couldn't do enough for us.Parking can be tricky - but we were given lots of advice and help. Lovely food and top rate facilities.A short walk to the seafront and some beachfront cafes.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we initially booked the Albert and Victoria Guesthouse in Eastbourne for a couple of nights, extending the stay by an extra night, whilst there.
The rooms and indeed the house are beautifully furnished and the hosts, David and Nicci do everything they can to help make your stay an enjoyable one.
The first two nights, we had the Alice room which is exactly as photographed above and the third night, we moved into a smaller room, I think it was called the Beatrice, purely because the Alice had already been booked by someone else. The smaller room was as comfortable as the Alice room, with the same amenities, flatscreen TV, toiletries, towelling robes, bottles of water, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and chocolates. The bathroom of the smaller room was 'bijoux' though my husband preferred it's walk in shower to the bath and overhead shower of the Alice. I actually enjoyed the rare chance of a long soak in the bath in the Alice, after a day long walking.
Breakfasts were great, cooked breakfasts (whilst there, a very full English or scrambled egg with smoked salmon) were freshly cooked to order when you'd finished your cereals, juices, toast etc. Breakfasts were substantial enough to last you most of the day until you went for dinner. We were recommended various local establishments for dinner such as the Marine and the Seeracha which both proved to be excellent. See my separate reviews. Nicci also gave us a Tourist passport which gave promotional reductions in various local pubs and restaurants, which helped save a few pounds. Enough to buy an afternoon tea in Alfriston. Parking in Eastbourne and parking right outside the guesthouse is a bit of a problem, but we were able to park nearby, on the seafront free, using a day permit given to us by Nicci. The guesthouse is close to the pier, restaurants and pubs of Eastbourne, a very pleasant, scenic bus ride (£7 adult return) to Brighton, short drive or longish walk to Beachy Head and Birling Gap and short drive to neighbouring, very pleasant seaside resort of Bexhill on Sea. We had a fabulous few days!
I wholly recommend the Albert and Victoria, it is a very special place, and would like to thank Nicci and David for their warm hospitality.

Room Tip: I would have no hesitation in booking any of the rooms available, judging by the excellent standards of the two rooms we stayed in.

we went for the first time to the A&V on february 2016 and had a great experience. The Alice room is just perfect for a romantic weekend. So I decided to go back again this february to get engaged! David and Nicci are exquisite people. They are very welcoming and David's cooking is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms perfectly clean. I've been to a few b&b but never ever found one as nice as the A&V. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Alice room has a super king size bed, very comfortable. Perfect for a romantic weekend.
