Great location overlooking the bay and close to town and pier. Easy 10 minute walk from railway station. Hotel provided excellent service, food and comfort. Great views from rooms at the front of the hotel. Very good breakfast selection.

Room Tip: good sea views from the front.

We stayed here for an annual dinner and were lucky enough to get one of the new rooftop rooms. These come with a reserved parking space and are wonderful.
They are large with lovely views and balconies - a bit more expensive than the other rooms but well worth it. Service and food were excellent and our first stay in Llandudno was great.

This is not the first time my husband and I have stayed. From the moment we arrive we are always made to feel so welcome. We had a sea view room this time which was very clean and spacious, There was an iron and ironing board which came in very handy as we were going out that evening. We didn't return to the hotel until eleven the night porter was brilliant even though he was so busy he had time to get us drinks and make us sandwiches, he was so polite and helpful he deserved a medal that night. We didn't stay for breakfast this time as we had to get back, but breakfast has always been great and plentiful in the past. So looking forward to returning.

Approached from promonade so used disabled ramp to enter terrace restaurant. Four members of staff standing behind bar/serving area. All completely ignored us so after several minutes went to hotel reception from where we were shown to our table. Lovely surroundings table dressed for Christmas and great view. First course, I had smoked cheese and chive pate was very nice as was my husbands soup. Main course however Big disappointment. I opted for roast turkey. Absolutely hate rolled turkey, which this was, neither did I think much of the rather cheap and nasty tasting chippolato sausage (not wrapped in bacon!). Would have expected better for a hotel of St George’s standard. My husband said his roast beef was fine. Both meals served with 3 small roast potatoes but already had gravy on the plate. Another no no for us and it had already started to form a thin skin on top. We prefer to serve our own gravy from an individual gravy boat. We each had a small dish containing 3 slices of carrot, 1 julienne slice of parsnip, 2 julienne slices of swede 1 small new potato and at least half a dozen sprouts (ugh!). Have to say my desert was delicious, lemon meringue roulade.
All in all would go back but not for festive menu. Not very warm in there either.

I visited the St. George with 85 friends when our choir from Bray Co Wicklow attended the Llandudno choral festival last month. We all checked in together which presented no problem, the reception were well prepared for the crowd. Throughout our visit we were all struck by how friendly the staff were. The term “Nothing is a problem” is a reality here. This hotels strongest asset is definitely it’s staff, well done folks.
I am definitely going back.

St George's is in an enviable position on the sea front. We haven't been resident there but have lunched there on a few occasions when on a day out in Llandudno. Service is traditional and friendly formal, nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent - generous and well presented. Coffee is hot and the shortbreads are delicious. In all a most comfortable and elegant place to lunch or dine. We shall return!

I had to go to Llandudno on business. Seaside hotels off season can often disappoint but this is a fine hotel. It is impressive in it's external appearance and whilst slightly dated in terms of rooms and decor, it has been lovingly maintained. It is spotlessly clean and just exudes class. The staff were unfailingly helpful and the food was good. What more could I ask for? It was reasonably priced and I look forward to staying there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view!
