Stayed at the Manor Hotel for 1 night in a single room and my parents in a double room with a sea view. Both rooms were clean, a lite tired but everything was in the room...tea, coffee, iron, hairdryer, toiletries, towels. The hotel has a friendly feel, which is down to the staff. They are very accommodating. Bar was reasonably priced with lots of choice of gins!!. The breakfast room was light, comfortable and if you sit where the bar is then you have a great view of the sea. Breakfast was quickly served and hot and we asked for more items, staff were accommodating. The hotel is situated at the end of a row of hotels, so there's parking at the side. I would gladly stay again at this hotel without question. They are updating the hotel in areas to bring rooms more up to date. People's expectations can be very high and they expect 5* when it's clearly 3*. Overall great stay.

Stunning room with sea views, fantastic service all night in the bar. Bit let down by breakfast service but only because it was busy - it was still delicious and well cooked. Not my favourite quality tho. Comfy bed and loads of tea coffee etc. Recommend highly.

Room in the basement 8' X 10'the door hit the bed when open. No wardrobe just hooks on the back of the door. Walls scuffed and dirty. Small cereal bowl with 2 unwrapped tbags 2 sachets of coffee, 3 milk no biscuit's. Kettle had not been used for a while as there was dust on the lid. 2 mugs still wet but still dirty. Bathroom intially looked clean until you looked at the glass shelf above the sink. No glasses provided. Breakfast below par very greasy 1 cheap sasague, 1 rasher of bacon, a few mushrooms and a fried egg falling off the edge of the plate. 2 cups no saucers upside down on the table, no milk jug. Waited 15mins to be asked for our order so went to find someone. Hot water provided for coffee but you had to go in the other room for sachets of coffee and milk. We have stayed in various other accommodations in Llandudno but have never stayed somewhere like this. £70 for 1 night I feel sorry for those who are there for a week.

I recently stayed in this hotel and was highly disappointed and shocked by the standard in many areas. The hotel is in much need of some tender loving care and a refurb. The cost is not reflected in the service or accommodation provided.

The service at breakfast was slow and inefficient e.g. after being asked if we wanted tea or coffee, we then had to wait 15 minutes and were then served a pot of boiling water and had to then fetch the tea bags and coffee sachet from a counter. We could have got hot water from out room more quickly! Surely, the breakfast room could have tea and coffee pots on the 'go' like other hotels from which guests can serve themselves if this helps the kitchen to run more efficiently.

The breakfast menu was very limited too with a list of English (not even Welsh when it's Wales!) food items. Even these were served badly - cold, overcooked, poor standard e.g. dry scrambled eggs. .

Hotel bedroom was very 'tired' with little to no storage, a very low table where the kettle and tea/coffee was, making this very difficult to use, curtains that were shabby with no linings, uneven floor in the bathroom and no toiletries other than two small soaps. I was horrified by the aged, dirty duvet that appeared through the duvey cover and no mattress protector on the mattress.

Room service was less than adequate. We were left with our used tea and coffee cups on several days, no toilet roll and tea, coffee and milk not replenished.

I don't think this standard is acceptable nowadays given the cost of this hotel each night. At least with a budget hotel costing a similar price, a decent standard of service, cleanliness and comfort is guaranteed.

Little things would make a big difference in The Manor Hotel e.g. cleaning and polishing the handrail of the staircase. It's dirty and grimy and in much need of a good clean and polish. I could on...
