Description: Watkins Co restaurant in Llandudno is an equation that comes out right every time. Take an award-winning restaurant, set it in one of Llandudnos top hotels, create an historic Victorian dining stuffed with formal elegance, add in an inventive chef with a dab hand at classic favourites and its elementary -- Watkins is a hit. Half the menu is seasonal, locally-sourced a la carte deliciousness, while the other half is a daily-changing table dhote menu offering excellent value. People love the home-made lasagne and the daily roast, but we recommend the more inventive creations, too. Watkins Cos service, impressive childrens menu and a pocket-friendly wine list get top marks.

Lovely hotel near to all the facilities Llandudno has to offer, short walk to the pier. The Watkins restaurant is excellent on providing all the necessary finishing touches to make a holiday extra special, we went for a mini break to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary staying for 3 nights everything was spot on with both the hotel room with all coffee making facilities including home made biscuits every day plus a delivery of sherry in the decanter daily, rooms with a fridge and luxurious bedding all beautiful. Spa facilities very good down stairs.
The Watkins is excellently run and all the waiting on staff are very friendly and polite each with there own job to do starting with the fresh drinking water delivered to the tables each time they see you running low, the quality of food is excellent all home made breads, cakes, biscuits, jams, desserts, these meals are to die, for we couldn't fault absolutely anything any night of our stay, all meals cooked fresh to order all 4 courses!!! Followed by as much free tea or coffee that you want in any of the many luxurious lounges available throughout the hotel, with an extra bar area for after dinner drinking, breakfast is either a buffet or table service, you choose which option you want daily, again all very good produce, well done to all and many thanks for making our golden extra special.. Wonderful can't wait to return.

We went for a meal here after recommendation from friend and had a brilliant meal in the restaurant. Service was excellent and food was the best meal we've had for a long time. We will certainly be returning either to stay in this elegant hotel or again for a meal as non residents.

Dining at this restaurant on our 2 year wedding anniversary was excellent as usual.
I chose deep fried Brie followed by soup, a herb crusted cod main and cheesecake for dessert.
Husband chose spring rolls followed by soup, a pot roast lamb dish and Creme brûlée
The meals were amazing and send our compliments to the chef
Love the service and atmosphere here

Ate whilst staying at the hotel. Dinner on the first night was lovely had prawn and avocado starter, sea bass then cheese and biscuits all were lovely my mum had the same starter and salmon all was good. My son had melon then pasta. Had Sunday lunch that was really good. The next night the main was disappointing both myself and my mum had herb crusted cod was a bit dry but had a watery sauce not very nice. The restaurant is very nice but have previously eaten in the poolside restaurant and I would say that is better value for money. Childrens meal is £12 which is probably ok for an older child but my six year old didn't eat that much. Lots of staff very attentive nice atmosphere.
