I was happy to see Chennai Dosa starting again in Ipswich and was hoping this would be at least as good as previous one . This was totally disappointing. The service is non existing.
They took order for takeaway dinner and got all of it wrong. One of curries was completely stale. Others were tasteless.
Another day when went with friends I ordered chilli paneer and gobi manchurian and veg pakoda for starters . They would simply say yes for anything you order and bring whatever they think is close to what you have said ! The manchurian was just fried cauliflower fritters ! They forgot the pakoras altogether . Same with main course experience .
Hope they improve.

Thank IPSR

We went to chennai dosa on monday ..
We ordered for chicken tandoori , biryani , and drinks. After chicken tandoori , our biryani order arrived after a long wait with som gravy in small plate. We almost finished more thn half of the biryani n gravy thinking the gravy is the part of biryani.later the staff comes a say u had not ordered this gravy sorry by mistake we served you. While paying the bill we were charged extra around £6.50 for that gravy . We dint enjoy the curry as it had mutton which i dont eat at all..I feel this is unfair and highly unprofessional for them to charge us for their own mistake.
Never going back ..

Everything about our visit to the Chennai Dosa restaurant in Ipswich yesterday evening was substandard, from the plastic tablecloths, 1-ply napkins and shabby decor to the slower than slow service. When the food did arrive it was lukewarm - the daal had to be sent back as it had formed a skin. They didn't have one of our original orders but we were in the restaurant for 20 minutes before they told us that. I should have been suspicious that it was so quiet on a Saturday night, but we had enjoyed coming to this location when it was 'My Keralam', so it didn't occur to us that the experience would be so much the opposite.

I will never set foot in this restaurant again.
