We had a Sunday lunch is was a good plateful but it was clearly microwaved. The gardens are really nice and child friendly and the food choice is good but no the best quality.

Had an amazing meal with family at the Sorrel Horse Inn. Was really easy to book a table in advance, which was ready when we arrived. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a great range of food on the menu and a specials board too. My lasagne looked and tasted fantastic, was reasonably priced too. Will definitely be coming back again!

This is our local pub unfortunately. Looks nice with outdoor area but grumpy staff and very average pub grub which is not that cheap.
We went for lunch after a long walk and ordered a sandwich and a jacket potato with chilli. NOt too complicated you would think or with modern technology such as microwaves - not too long a wait. However, after a good half hour, we thought we would ask if they were anywhere near to serving us only to have a sarcastic response. After another 10 minutes or so, we asked if perhaps they had forgotten - another surly look and not too friendly response. Our meals finally came, served by a sour faced grumpy woman who took some time defending her reasons why people who had arrived and ordered some time after us had been served first. Why they didn't just come clean and apologise for forgetting I don't know. The sandwiches were from a sliced loaf filled with ordinary cheddar cheese with half a tomatoe and some iceberg lettuce on the side. I could see how it took so long!!!

Love the food and service here. Can be difficult to find a table if you haven't booked and can end up sitting in the bar up to a coffee table. Doesn't spoil anything though. Book first.

I have eaten in this pub several times and have always enjoyed it. The pub is in the countryside, difficult, but not impossible to get to on public transport. I usually visit the pub in the summer months when i walk down from the near by village of Claydon. The food is good. There is a nice outside seating area. There is a good choice on the menu.
