Six of us went for a meal on Easter Monday evening. Service was excellent and the prices fair. The menu is interesting and varied and one of our party got the changed vegetable from the menu he asked for. The only moan is a very minor negative that the broccoli was undercooked, so hard you could not cut the stalks.

Thank Steve C

Had a pleasant lunch on Easter Sunday. We were seated at a table by the window, so had a nice view of the waterfront while eating. The food was decent. I started with a plate of Suffolk charcuterie with Mozzarella, always good and then a main of Barbary duck breast with bubble and squeak with confit duck mixed in, a nice idea and tasty. The duck breast was cooked perfectly, still a little pink and tender. The place was pretty busy but service was friendly and efficient.

We had dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy and had a nice atmosphere. Our food arrived really quickly (maybe a bit too quickly) and was tasty. I had the scallops and the skate and my partner had the fish cake and the cod of the fixed menu. I really liked my food but the husband wasn't too crazy about the fish cake. Other than that all good and the price was reasonable.

Not only the location is prime but also they serve excellent dishes with generous portion.Grilled lamb was succulent and tender, croquettes as accompaniment was crunchy outside and meltingly soft inside.
My partner had steak, she said it was also very juicy and cooked to perfection as ordered. No flaw at all. The chief female floor manager(?) was very welcoming and professional, knows how to handle customers.
Atmosphere is agreeable and vibrant, quite pleasant to dine here.
Will be back, simply recommendable.
