Found this hotel to be very good, room was spacious and clean very modern and close to M6. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. My only concern was the accessibility room that I had was 120m from the entrance/reception and restaurant/bar. I personally was fine with this but those less able might find it a challenge. Overall a very pleasant stay at Premier Inn.

Stayed here for 4 nights and unfortunately it's needs an update as not up to the usual standard from Premier Inn. It's showing its age. Maybe the other Premier Inn just a mile down the road in better... It definitely looks newer.

Didn’t think this Premier Inn was up to the usual standard. The room was small & poky (106),no air con, or fan in room ,although we could have requested one,but for one night it wasn’t worth it. There was only a hard chair at the desk,no easy chair or sofa so it meant the other occupant had to sit on the bed. No safety bathmat and the base of bath very slippy when taking a shower. Breakfast was self service only, not enough put out for all taking breakfast and it was only lukewarm. The male receptionist quite abrupt and grumpy.

Room tip: Upper floors quieter, probably at rear of building.

The rooms were average in cleanliness levels. The evening meal was booked online and this informed us that my daughter ate free under their offer but no her meal ended up being more expensive. The meal itself was average but after a lengthy wait the wrong starter was delivered to our table and the waiting staff just shrugged their shoulders and left it at that. the main course was average. When we got the bill we discovered that the starter they gave us was more expensive than we ordered and we were charged for their mistake.
The breakfast was okay but we did not given a menu when shown our table so helped ourselves to the buffet breakfast to discover when people were shown to the table next to us that there was freshly made omelettes and poached eggs and porridge this would have been nice to when we sat down for our breakfast.

We stayed here for one night on our way to England from a ferry crossing to Scotland . The hotel is just off the motorway and location is excellent beside a retail park, petrol etc.
The hotel itself does not have a lot of character but for a reasonable overnight stay it was clean, quiet and with good food and nice staff.
Great for a stopover, maybe not for a longer trip.
