Having tried to do the museum in one go, I resigned myself to the fact that it would take several, shorter visits to do it justice. Which is fine because they also have wonderful exhibitions. I have recently seen the exhibition of Anne Frank and family: the photos of Otto Frank, which was on tour round the World, and an art exhibition of Trees in British Art. Both were excellent. This spring/summer I plan to see Celebrating Women of Bedfordshire and Bawden's Beasts, about some of the artwork of Edward Bawden.
Entry is free but I like to leave something in the donation box.
They are also attached to The Higgins Pantry cafe and restaurant.
