Beautiful woods & lakes. Great for walking with our dog, 2 teenagers & 2 younger children. Met friends with young children, a great halfway stop as we come from Surrey they come from Oxfordshire. Lovely cafe with real ice cream & great coffee. Children's playground near cafe, very well thought out.

First time for visit to Black Park after many years, the expanded car park and extensive walking trails made for a very enjoyable day out. I’d recommend a visit, a great place, paradise for dog walkers.

We went yesterday with our three children (8, 3 and 1) and the dog; we had a fab day! Plenty of paths to explore, kids could paddle in the lake, loads of dogs playing. There was so much more we didn't get to see. The play area was large but what with it being half term it was packed. The Go Ape was right near the entrance and looked fun but we gave that a miss today. Great place for bikes but wouldn't recommend scooters at this time of year due to the mud. They had some groundworks going on but those areas seemed well fenced off. The only improvement I can think of would be to have a nice big boot washing station near the entrance/car park to rinse down everything to go back in the car after everyone has had a great day exploring.

Thank you for your review, so glad you had a fab day and remembered your waterproofs. I will pass on your comment about a boot washing station to the Park management team.

We have relocated up north, and one of the places I miss most is Black Park.
Beautiful at any time of year and it’s so family/pet friendly.
Can’t wait to come back and visit. Really miss having it on my doorstep!
