I like the discovery centre because it offers a variety of interest and experiences for all the family. The Gardens are delightful and you can walk around them and see plants from a wide variety. The display of farming equipment and Luton's past history are on display and there's a small garden tucked away and you just get the feeling of being in a quiet oasis even in spite of the planes coming in to land at Luton Airport.

Stockwood has lots of things to do. The museum is interesting, there is a good café, the Mossiman collection of vintage carriages is brilliant and there are two very interesting traction engines named Dennis and Janet.

Apart from the museum the park has a number of 200 year old historic trees and a good playpark for the kids .

Well worth spending a few hours visiting, and why not, its free!
