My friend bought me a double zip wire ride for my birthday. it was fun, despite the weather. Unfortunately it wasn't the adrenalin fuelled experience I was anticipating, as there was a head wind. But it was ok. On the second run, I stopped before reaching the end due to wind and had to be brought in.
The venue is lovely with a nice bar and terrace area where you can watch the zippers come down over the lake.
No gluten free options in the cafe though and no alternative to cow's milk. Both need to be provided these days. The majority of coffee shops and cafes do provide this now.

Thank Sally S

We were really looking forward the the exilaration of the zip-wire, having read great reviews. As it was no adrenalin rush at all, felt quite slow and rather dull to be honest. shame.

Have visited a few times however this time we stayed in the wigwams. It was a great experience! I would however recommend getting a wigwam with a shower as the communal showers are less than desirable, most campsites have more pleasant showers. Also did the zip wire in the morning which was also good fun. Didn't get a chance to try the big swing but saw a couple of families having a go and that looked equally as fun. The restuaraunt has a really great menu however the food just doesn't live up to expectations - having eaten there 3 times now (twice on previous visits) I am disappointed every time especially as it is not cheap. The bar however is a good touch and the drinks are plentiful.

We expected this to be open every day but it can be booked out to private parties I. e. Army diving course. And the zip wire only runs at certain times. We were told it needs to be booked on line.

This place is great for safe dive training, it has so many features and depths which are perfect for all levels of diver. A lot of thought has gone into making this place a success. The car park is large (with very little queuing). The air/nitrox/trimix fills are quick and theres a dive shop for those missed items. The food onsite is very good and you can eat in the restaurant without have to strip all your kit off. I was there for a day, but there is accomodation onsite which handy. There even entertainment in the bar in the evenings. Overall a great place which I will be using a lot in the future.
