Visited The Knights Table on Thursday lunchtime and was well impressed. We had a table for four plus our one year old grand daughter to the right of the bar. Warm welcome and nice feeling about the place, the land lady was very pleasant, welcoming and attentive. The food was well cooked, well presented and delicious. I had the battered black pudding to start and the liver for main dish, both excellent but very filling so with a few pints of the pale ale I couldn't even consider a dessert. I'll keep this in mind for next time which I'm sure will be soon.

Was staying nearby in a cottage and decided to go for tea and soo glad we did. The pate and creamed garlic mushrooms we had for starters were delish soooo fresh and presentation was beautiful . Hubby had steak and ale pie for main was about 5 inch thick served with thick real chips and lovely fresh veg. I opted for scampi and there must of been 12 huge pieces huge fresh side salad chips and peas. We couldn't fit a desert in. Large glass of white wine spritzer and large coke ans the bill was less than £40. You must go if you are in the area.

This was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The interior was outstanding. It was warm and welcoming. Good menu choice. Harty portions which are very filling. Reasonably priced too. The bar well stocked lovely wines. The owner was very friendly indeed. Nothing was too much trouble. The deserts were outstanding. It is one of the best meals of our week in Buxton. While there we looked in the holiday let. Wow it looked stunning. We were blown away with how it looked and its facilities.
