“Confortable, spacious and convenient”
Reviewed July 7, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My elderly mother and I stayed in this lovely apartment for a week. It had everything we could have wanted (except a dishwasher - but we coped!). It was clean, warm and welcoming.A great base for exploring the Peak District. Buxton itself was a lovely surprise and it is only a few minutes from all the amenities within the town - loved the Pavilion, parks, the Dome and the excellent range of restaurants available within a few minutes walk. The only downside was the walk back to the apartment from the town is uphill all the way. I am already planning a return visit.

“very spacious flat in an excellent location”

A lovely spacious and well equipped flat just a few minutes stroll to the centre of Buxton. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. Lots of pleasant walks of varying lengths and difficulties on the doorstep or just a short drive away. Would recommend the Simply Thai restaurant, just 5 minutes away, especially good gluten free menu available.

“OK for a short stay”
Reviewed June 23, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

As mentioned by previous reviewers, this flat is very spacious and in a convenient and quiet location. However, it could do with a spring clean and better servicing, e.g. there was hardly any toilet paper, so we had to buy our own. The mattresses are soft and worn out, the bedding in the twin room smelt stale and the 13.5 TOG down duvets were a bit warm, even in this cold June. The curtains let in quite a lot of light and we could hear frequent footsteps and voices from the flat above - not conducive to a good night's sleep. The allocated parking space was sometimes taken by other residents. As we were only staying 3 nights, the excellent location outweighed most of the negatives.

“Excellent appartment in a beautifulo area near the centre of Buxton”
Reviewed June 5, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This was our second stay at this spacious apartment in a lovely area of Georgian buildings just to the North of the centre of Buxton but also close to the woods. It is a 5 minute walk to the Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens.

We travelled with a toddler and there is plenty of space in the large bedrooms for travel cots etc. It would also be perfect for more elderly visitors as parking is just outside the door making it ideal for unloading and the property is all on one level with no steps for access.
The separate utility room is really useful for mid week washing.
The location is very peaceful as it is to the rear of a large period building with trees all around.
Since our first stay there is now excellent Wi-Fi if you need to keep in touch (or like we did, stream Peppa pig cartoons).

we'd highly recommend the food and service at the restaurant St Moritz which is just just down the road.

“Great flat, great location, great holiday!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This is our first time in this flat, with two young children, but we would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in Buxton. The flat itself is lovely and spacious, clean and minutes away from the town centre.

Really nice flat with great car access which was useful as we had a baby with us and all the equipment that entails. Well equipped and comfortable with a useful utility room for mid week washing - again good if you have a baby or travel light.
Would and may well stay again.

“Great Location”
Reviewed March 26, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Very spacious flat. Close to town. No car needed staying here. Station is barely 5mins away and its also a relatively short walk/hike to Corbar Cross, Poole's Caverns and Solomons Temple. Also nice and close to the Peak District itself. We walked to the Fernilee and Errwood reservoirs and hiked up to their surrounding Tors etc.

Recommend this letting and have it bookmarked for future.
