We had a wonderful day out in Buxton with friends who came to see where their grandparents had married many years ago. We all especially loved the Buxton Tram Tour - Michael our driver was brilliant and thanks also to Nessa for her help. The tour was so informative but also great fun. We also had a peek inside the Opera House thanks to a very kind member of staff. In all a grand day out! We will be back.

Thank Julie P

We decided to do this tour on a very grey, dull day in Buxton. The tour guide (Michael) was knowledgeable and gave a very interesting commentary throughout our ride on a converted milk float. At one point he took us into a small church to have a look around as part of the tour. We felt that the tour gave us much more insight into the history of Buxton which we would not have got from just wandering around the town.

We had a lovely and interesting tour around Buxton with Netta and partner.

Netta was extremely helpful right from the first point of contact, we had a team building day with around 30 people and I can highly recommend using Buxton Tours, the information was fun and very interesting, they have a great knowledge and a genuine love of Buxton, our group was a good mixture of nationalities and every single one of them enjoyed the tour.

Netta went over and above to make sure everything ran smoothly, even liaising with Buxton Old Hall where we had our lunch.

I would highly recommend using Buxton Tours.

Thank you for reading.

I had a group of mature solo travellers who attended . I went along. The tour was put together to suit the group and was excellent. We got to try local products such as cheese, chocolate and Buxton pudding. Also learnt more about my favourite historical figure Mary Queen of Scots.
