“Lovely clean, warm, well-equipped cottage in a perfect location.”
Reviewed 26 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The owners take an enormous interest and pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards, both in the accommodation offered and in the service they provide. The cottage is in a brilliant location in central Bakewell - though it is quiet - and is perfect for exploring the stunning countryside around.

“Excellent accommodation in perfect location”
Reviewed 17 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We have just returned from a weekend at the Servant's Quarters. The cottage is perfectly located near the town centre and within easy reach of the National Park. The cottage itself is cosy and was really warm even though there was thick snow.

The owners (Pete and Catherine) made us feel welcome before we had even arrived, contacting us to offer us early check in as the guests before us had already departed and also gave us use of the cottage for the whole day on the Sunday as there was no one checking in that day. Pete also text us on the morning of arrival to keep us up to date with the condition of the roads owing to the recent snow.

There was a welcome basket waiting for us in the kitchen upon arrival which included freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine and cookies. I had mentioned to Pete that I was going on a photography workshop in the Peaks for the day on the Friday and as it was forecast to snow, he had very kindly provided a thermos flask and hand warmers as part of the welcome pack to help keep me warm on the day!

The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay and is a short walk to numerous pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be returning.

“Absolutely Lovely Place”

We have stayed at the Servants Quarters twice now and hopefully will be back again next year. It is a lovely house with everything you could possibly want. The welcome pack is a nice touch with home made biscuits and bread. It is warm and cosy and the beds are really comfy. Best of all you are 5 mins walk from the park and central Buxton. Pete couldn't be more helpful and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

“Brilliant home from home”
Reviewed 23 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

This was our first visit to the Peak District and hopefully not our last. This home is so well
appointed and comfortable. Parked right outside the house. Everything you need is here from very comfortable beds to kitchen equipment. The location is also perfect, walking to the beautiful gardens and town centre could not be easier. Pete the owner was quick to welcome us an arrival and also very helpful in many ways. The welcome pack was the best touch. Fresh bread, homemade cookies etc. Most appreciated. I would certainly hope to return next year sometime.

“Super property”

As I wrote onTrip Advisor in October 2014 'we will visit again'. We had a very enjoyable visit in Pete and Catherine's delightful house. We have booked for next year, that says it all.

“Clean and comfortable”
Reviewed 12 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

A traditional property with modern interior - the best of both worlds. It was very clean with large, comfortable beds . The cottage was well equipped with good quality appliances. Pete, the owner, lives close by with his young family so is handy if there are any problems ( we didn't have any though) - he is very friendly and helpful - I'll give him 10/10 .
The cottage is very convenient for the centre of Buxton and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Opera House - worth a visit .
I would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to a friend.

“Home from home”
Reviewed 4 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We have just returned from our first visit to The Sevants Quarters set in the heart of Buxton. Pete and Catherine have thought of everything, making the stay a 'home from home', from the tasty welcome pack to the huge comfortable bed.
Internet via WIFI was a bonus.
Mobile phone signal reception was very good.
A fantastic convenient location for all Buxton had to offer. Theatre, exhibitions and shopping centres are all within easy walking distance.
Exhilarating walks in th hills locally were thoroughly enjoyed.
Cycling the Monsal trail was a very worthwhile excursion.
Our car stayed parks all week- unused.
We'll be back!!!!!
