noisy guests having an argument in the early hours spoilt the experience, in a room on my own I was nervous to leave my room to go down 2 flights of stairs to reception. with no direct contact with reception I was forced to put up with the noise, bad language an banging doors. reception at check out did not seem to care.

Th service at the restaurant the riverside was excellent. particularly Abigail, helpful, cheerful and very professional.

Room Tip: some form of contact with reception in case of emergency for lone travellers

As others have already reviewed, this place is in desperate need of a refurbishment. It’s very tired throughout. Our room had a cracked window and the wood was rotting. Bathroom was especially in need of some TLC . However the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we slept well.
Pub next door was nice , good choice of food and drinks.
Hotel is handy for central Warrington though doubt I would stay again.

I’ve stayed in many premier inn hotels & this is poor beyond belief. The rooms are tired & craving to be updated. The location is good but I would guess these rooms have not been updated in over 10 years. The windows barely close, the temperature is hard to guess with no thermostat, over bed lights only worked on the left side. The tv had 2 channels bbc1 & 2 that’s it, the bed is nowhere near the quality normally associated with premier inns.
The price for this £105 bed & continental breakfast which I think is extortionate, don’t be fooled by the regular tv advertising & in any case t
You couldn’t watch them on the in room tv, you have a choice so don’t stay here, the pub next door is perfect, a shame considering the state of the hotel.
