Great location, just across the road from the cinema. Looks like a small family restaurant, but there is a large seating area together with a bar.
Staff friendly, great menu and well priced!
Try the burgers, really tasty , good portions!
Ideal

A family party of us went there for lunch recently and found the food and service a bit hit and miss. One of the service staff obviously had a problem, shame that they brought it to work with them, their face was enough to turn milk sour. The food was in the main OK, dishes of vegetables were undercooked though. Burgers were good, liver excellent, supreme of chicken poor in taste and presentation. Need to up their game a bit.

Lunch service before movie Saturday 13oct 2018.
Luke warm welcome but order taker very pleasant and engaging with the other 8 diners.
Excellent food and wine arrived promptly but we sat (along with the other diners) with empty plates in front of us for at least 30mins.
No offer of dessert, no offer of another drink and when we asked for the bill, this arrived with the Luke warm welcomer who we had to ask to remove the plates.
Maybe we arrived at the switch over time but there were at least 3 staff on duty for 8 customers.

A confit duck leg and soggy sausage in a pretty tasteless thin tomato sauce does not constitute a cassoulet. Also, it was the wrong type of sausage and there were no lardons and no celery. The chopped parsley garnish was absent and the side of vegetables was reheated to volcanic temperature. And, parmentier potatoes from the deep fat fryer - really?

Fairly half of both dishes were returned to the kitchen and at all but £32 it was simply not good enough.

The meze starter was alright, the wine acceptable but the cheese at the end was too cold and hence was bland.

Not a place for discerning diners.

We had not visited this restaurant in years, when it had a different owner, but decided to have a special Birthday Movie and Meal evening. It was amazing. Very good table service with attentive staff, good wine and good food.
