Lowestoft isn't the easiest place to get to and after a four hour drive I was glad to see the familiar Travelodge sign. The location is well away from the town centre and the beach, but in a wonderful, quiet corner of Lowestoft.
On arrival I was greeted by Stephen who quickly sorted out my booking. He advised me that the nearby Harvester was a good place to eat, which proved to be correct.
I was on business and needed to know the location of an office block. Stephen gave me a map, showed me where we were, and then marked my destination.
The room was spotlessly clean and the following morning I had a great view onto open fields, having had a very peaceful sleep.
I had to go across to the nearby Tesco store and tried their breakfast. Alas it was stone cold, so it had to have the microwave treatment. I should have stuck to the Harvester.
As I left another of Stephen's colleagues - I think her name was Olone, or something similar - asked if everything had been alright and was clearly interested in feedback.
A real find, and an excellent place to stay when visiting LowestoftMore
