This B+B is excellent in all areas from the exceeedingly warm welcome of tea and cake , a free lift to an excellent restaurant, a wonderful night's sleep and a sumptuous breakfast. As we said in the title an absolute first rate B+B. Our thanks must go to the wonderful hosts Suzie and Norman.

A truly exceptional place. The rooms are delightful, with everything thought of (we liked the extra sitting area in our room). Suzie and Norman go out of their way to be hospitable and helpful – in our case driving to Nottingham to collect our son from the station on a day when trains to Grantham were cancelled, so that he could join us for my birthday meal at Harry’s Place. There aren’t many b&bs that are worth a special detour to visit, but this is one of them.

We have stayed in a number of excellent B&B's over the last few years but this one is now at the top of our list. We stayed for 6 nights in October and wished we could have stayed even longer. We agree with previous reviewers that Suzie and Norman have thought of everything that you could need to make your stay comfortable. What makes it special is that you feel like a family friend rather than a paying guest; nothing is too much trouble for the friendly hosts.

If you don't want a cooked breakfast (which looked lovely) you are spoiled with fresh fruit, compote, yoghurt, home made jams, and all the toast you can eat.

The local area is good for walks straight from the front door. Norman advised us on routes and even provided a map; Suzie provided a packed lunch. Several National Trust, other properties and Lincoln are all within an easy drive.

Thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to return (tomorrow!).

Room Tip: We saw all three rooms and they are all of a high standard.

We've never stayed in a place with a bathroom as well stocked as this one. We expected a simple bedroom ensuite and were pleasantly surprised that we had a separate sitting room as well. It is a very sociable B&B, our breakfast lasted over two hours socialising with our host, Norman and another guest couple. We definitely recommend this B&B, no shortcomings and plenty of longcomings. Belvoir Castle is visible from the garden about 2 miles away.

Absolutely lovely! The owners are soooo friendly and kind! Exceptionally clean and very very thoughtful... Everything imaginable is provided in the rooms: fridge with milk in it, tea, coffee, bisquits, body lotion, shower caps... I just don't know where to stop! Beautiful Cottage in amazing countryside.... AND: BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!! It's not the cheapest option for people on a budget, but definitely worth their price and more!!! Highly recomended... will come again!

This is a real gem. We stayed for 3 nights and everything was great including the welcome, the accomodation, the breakfasts and the afternoon tea and cakes. Suzi and Norman make you feel very welcome and are so obliging. We loved it.
