We went with another couple. We had a bedroom and bathroom each and the house was perfect Just simple things like milk in the fridge on arrival made this a stress free holiday
Shampoo etc all catered for , bathrooms were imaculate with fresh towels
I can honestly say that all 4 of us were very pleased with all that if offered
We walked up the hill just behind the house and the view was amazing ! Half hour up and just 10 minutes to get down. It's very steep but well worth it
Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Loved this place!! We arrived late at night and the heating was on for us And all the things you need for tea/ coffee and home made biscuits lovely, the views from the patio was amazing. There's a hotel next door and the food was amazing, and you must make the trek up the hill to see the beautiful views.

“A truly perfect place!”
Reviewed September 25, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

An excellent cottage with an ideal location. The cottage has all you could ask for. It is so well equipped with special touches by the owners. The very large balcony/terrace gave us stunning views of Morecambe Bay. (The weather helped too!)
We love walking and so found that there were many walks within reach - the walk up to The Hospice (just up the road from the cottage) gave fantastic 360* views.
We will return!

A lovely modern/homely house and the wood burner was amazing - my son lit the fire on our last evening within a few minutes the whole top floor was toasting warm.
Great place to stay for central and south lakes. We visited several lakes. Loads to do in the area .

We loved our stay at The Coach House! Made very welcome on arrival and we settled in in no time.
The terrace is fantastic, just wished we had better weather to fully enjoy it and get to use the BBQ!
Will recommend to our family, friends and colleagues and hope to return in the future.
Thank you Ray and Dawn

“A lovely holiday in the Lake District”
Reviewed August 7, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Stayed for a week at the Coach House and had a lovely break. It is a beautiful setting just a short walk from the centre of Grange over Sands, which was a lovely little town to visit. Very handy for lots of local attractions including Lake Windermere and was a really good base for a holiday in the Southern Lake District. Highlights would be doing the Segways at Cartmel and a boat trip up Lake Windermere. Also good if you want to have a day out to Blackpool which is just over an hour away (the family thought thsi was great fun).
