We arrived in beautiful Fowey and found this beautiful boutique hotel's last room. We got the Snowball room, quirky cool and contemporary - it had a swing chair in the room! The whole hotel was opulently decorated with lush fabrics and very tastefully done, it turned out the hotel owner was an Artist and it clearly showed! Amal was a brilliant host - super friendly and welcoming and we even joined her for a glass of wine in the evening. If you head to Fowey you should definitely stay here and if you can't - definitely check out her art gallery below her hotel - fantastic pieces from Amal and other artists!

Highly recommend, thank you for our stay xx

We stayed for two nights, in two different rooms both were very clean and comfortable, good beds and furnishings, Amel the owner is very accommodating and friendly, we enjoyed the breakfast. There was a major problem though the church clock chime's throughout the night, this kept us awake both nights despite us using ear plugs. It's a real shame that the clock took the shine off a lovely couple of days.

The Upton house was an amazing place to stay...Amal the hostess is very accommodating, super friendly engaging. The breakfasts were fantastic...We left before breakfast and she packed sandwiches, fruit, and snacks to take with us. The rooms are themed and very clean. Everything was impeccable...I saw that people mentioned the church bells...we had no issue with this at all...This was the best B&B that we have stayed in.

Room Tip: You can't pick a bad room
