Lovely tastefully decorated cottage, in a cosy nautical theme. Has a newly fitted bathroom which was light and airy and on the ground floor. Shelterd rear courtyard garden, lovely for bbq or just a glass of something. Sarah the owner was available for any queries, and the cream tea left for our arrival was appreciated., as was the milk tea and coffee. The only tricky was the parking, have to shuffle the car as no 24hour parking. But a wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful stay here! The cottage had a brand new bathroom and kitchen, all of which were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. All of our requirements were catered for. A fully equipped kitchen. A three minute walk to the quayside and a two minute walk to the shops and restaurants, made our holiday very relaxed and easy.
We were delighted with scones and jam on arrival after our long journey. We will definitely be back! Thank you again!
Everything is provided; we only had to supply the food. We are pensioners, and the stairs and every room is easily accessible; a really cosy home - wonderful!
Beautiful cosy cottage tucked away in the centre of Christchurch. Perfect location for the town quay and good restaurants ( great Sunday roasts at James and White! ) or just a cosy night in by the fire. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time exploring old haunts around Christchurch and found the cottage very welcoming, warm and in an excellent location. The cream tea and Easter eggs were an added bonus. Loved Stanpit Marsh and can thoroughly recommend a walk round there. Thank you, Sarah, for your help and advice.
Sarah was very hospitable. We arrived to a lovely warm and cosy delight. The lovely scones and cream were also a perfect welcome.
The cottage is very quaint and comfortable with all the amenities needed. Very clean too.
The location is perfect and we enjoyed our walks into the town and down to the river.
Thank you. We loved our stay.
Such a beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We were welcomed with a cream tea which, after a long drive, was perfect. Lovely enclosed garden which we sat out in and it was very quiet (in fact the cottage is in a quiet area generally). It is a few minutes walk away from the town centre, and we enjoyed walking around Christchurch, and the Priory that evening, and to see where to go for dinner. We chose Soho to eat and sat on the roof terrace which overlooked the ruins - food there was lovely (along with a cocktail for me). We saved our last night's meal at The Ship - well worth a visit, food was great and the staff very friendly. Sarah very kindly left lots of information about where to go, but unfortunately we didn't have time to see it all, as we spent the weekend with friends who live here. Highcliffe Castle was a wonderful day out, as was the Motor Museum (husband loved all the bikes) and from there we visited Beaulieu driving through the New Forest. Wonderful, relaxing holiday ~ thank you Sarah and would love to stay again, next time to visit Studland.
