The checkin staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. Had a fan in the room as there is no ac. The Brewers Fayre attached to it was good for breakfast. The manager during breakfast was very helpful and professional. The dinner service and ordering was a disappointment.

The hotel is well placed, although the entrance was not displayed well. The room didn't have air conditioning ,but we were provided with a sheet to put over us if the duvet was too hot and there was a fan in the room which was too noisy to be kept on all night.
The hotels are being upgraded, and this was adequate for a one night stay. The lady on duty when we signed in was extremely helpful, going out of her way to provide de-caf tea bags and herbal tea I had asked about.

The room, although of reasonable quality, is hot and stuffy in the summer. So you have to keep the window open and that's where the problem lies, especially if your room faces the car park. There is constant noise of people outside coming and going through the night. Everything else is okay. The staff are very good and the Brewers Fayre pub next door gives a very good breakfast. So if it wasn't for the hot and stuffy room with a thick hot quilt on the bed in the middle of summer, I could recommend it.
