Our only previous visit was for a busy but enjoyable Sunday lunch, this time it was midweek for dinner but as before the obvious popularity of the Westbrook saw to it that it was as before, not short of custom.
The atmosphere is very good and the service both charming and efficient. Our meals were varied, two of our four person party going for the pie option, one the fish and chips and the other duck.
Our pie fanciers were in truth a little disappointed, both commenting that it was dry albeit gravy was available. The rest found all very good, tasty and well presented.
Maybe another visit should be considered, we left not entirely satisfied but a rating of between good and very good would be appropriate.
