Part of a large party that dined there on 22nd of September.
Staff very efficient and service was excellent.
I had the pate followed by salmon and finished with a 'meadows' mess. All very well presented, tasty and just right.
If there was any fault we couldve been asked by staff if we wanted more drinks but we are adults and couldve asked for them ourselves.
Had the use of a wonderful room to our selves and they didnt even mind when we arranged the tables to suit the whole party being together and not on seperate tables.
Would recommned a visit here.

After a morning of wondering about Callander we decided this would be a perfect place for lunch. We had three generations and all of us left full and happy. The children’s menu was fun. All the wee ones enjoyed the extra care put into the plating of the first and clown dessert. The French onion soup was delicious. My ham sandwich had a yummy homemade honey mustard. One of us had a salad with goat cheese mousse....very good. This was a meal we all appreciated.

We had dinner here and after a main course each we were still hungry. If you have a big appetite you will need to budget on 2 or 3 courses.
The pork fillet had 3 small pieces of pork only served with lentils and haggis. There was a nice selection of vegetables but not enough for the three of us. The lamb was delicious but again a small serving.

On our way back from sailing in Loch Tay we popped in for dinner. Wow it was lovely. Food was first class. We had sea bream in a delicious lemon dressing followed by a very light banana and date dessert. Menu choice was excellent - could of had 2 or three dishes each course. Ambience was relaxed. Dress code - was mixed tbh - we were in jeans and trainers, some other diners were dressed up - all felt ok. Thank you.

I had the sea bass and couscous and my husband had pork with haggis balls. Incredibly skilled chef. Wonderful service. Bonus of great wine selection!
