Just Returned from an over night stay at this wonderful hotel. Gift for my wifes 40th...was upgraded to a lovely large room with jacuzzie bath. Room was perfect. Food was fab - chef(s)at this hotel are on top of there game. Many areas within the hotel to just sit and relax, especially when the log fires are lit.
Many thanks for a lovely stay.
(Take some walking shoes as many walks from hotel including the hotel grounds)

What a fantastic hotel!! We visited the hotel on 4th October and from the moment we arrived we knew this was something special. Our room was huge with everything you needed even down to the extra touches in the bathroom. The many comfortable lounges that there are are amazing! But our favourite was the cosy sun room. Beautiful! We ate our evening meal at the Bistro. The food was amazing. Service was brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Staff here are all super friendly and attentive. We will certainly be back. Can't wait!

Another excellent stay this year. Food was superb and customer service was excellen again. This is a lovely hotel which we have stayed in several times with consistent quality.
The young p/t and f/t staff this year were all very professional and polite. A credit to the management encouragement and training. Sorry but we cannot remember all the boys names but the young girls, Holly, Lauren and Holly(2) were excellent given the short time at the hotel.

A terrific location, building and history. Staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast and dinner service and meals couldn’t be faulted. But the rooms are a bit tired; pillows old and lumpy, mildew in bathroom. It’s worth a visit but could be so much more with a bit of ‘care and attebtion’

Spent the night in a beautiful room with spa bath. Just idylic. The entire wedding from service to breakfast the next day wad impeccable. They even have peacocks roaming the grounds. Situated just a few miles from Stirling, which we visited in the morning before the wedding. Worthy of another trip soon.
