Spider on a Bicycle

This little gem may be rather small but the home made food more than compensates. Friendly staff welcome visitors and regulars alike and the home made soups, sandwiches and salads are first rate. A range of quiches and other savoury bakes iare accompanied by a range of cakes scones and a variety of tray bakes. A great place to stop off which unless you're aware of it you're likely to miss due to the fact that it's just off the main Aboyne to Ballater/Braemar road but well worth seeking out.

Stopped past for coffee and cake and both were excellent. I don't know how I have missed this place before now. First class coffee and cake in a lovely spacious period building that I remember as being the railway station when I was at school. We will return to sample the lunch menu soon. Till then, "Stay Cheeky."

We found this place by accident and had a lovely meal. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. I would highly recommend the sweet potato and ginger soup, absolutely delicious! We sampled two cakes which were also excellent.

Stopped for coffee and tea. Enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch. Soup was very tasty. Desert even better. Tried ginger bread and a coconut pastry. This is a Scottish "must visit".

Just tried this amazing cafe in Aboyne and we are now hooked. The food is simple, but expertly prepared. The service is friendly and quick. The cakes are creative and well balanced. The coffee is superb as well. Last but not least, we loved the hip interior and ample parking space.
