With really nice views across deeside the course has two halves. First is more open parkland but is challenging on club selection. Greens are in fabulous condition. Second half runs from round the loch up the hill and has some great holes.

Great little clubhouse with really lovely welcome and great food.

Nice people and a good course under an hour from Aberdeen. It was not in the best of shape while we was there and the back nine was a little bit unusual. But a great day

Hi Morten

Thank you for your review and I am delighted you enjoyed the day. Can you let me know which day and the time you played as it is unusual that the course was not in good condition last week.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Kind regards

Aboyne is a wonderful mix of parkland and heathland with superb views. The greens are without doubt the best on deeside. Not overly long but a good test with many interesting and challenging holes.

I've played Aboyne Golf Course a number of times and the course is always well kept with a few tricky holes on the back 9.

On this occasion though I was in for food whilst in the area, I'd heard good feedback and wanted to try it for myself.

After perusing the menu and specials board we went for the Steak Pie, a Burger and 2 kids Macaroni's.

The portions were hearty and the food was good, wife and kids were happy!

At £24 I was struck by how good value that was for a family feed.

I'll be back!

Golf Course in excellent condition, greens beautiful. Well organised and a most enjoyable day. Definitely a must play course in the Deeside area, consists of two contrasting but challenging nines.
